22 Photoshop Tricks That You Probably Didn’t Know About

Getting familiar with Photoshop is a long process, and who better to reveal some little-known features than someone with more than 20 years of experience? This excellent video from Jamie Windsor will speed up your workflow and uncover some powerful features that you might not have known exist.

I had my own epic battle with Photoshop recently, as documented in this article, and knowing more than a few of these tips would definitely have been useful. Certainly, my battle to match white balance and color temperatures between different elements of a composited image could have been very different had I watched this video prior to starting my slightly ambitious series of edits. Equally useful would have been the rotating clone stamp and shortcuts to change brush size and hardness. It's a tricky balance trying to figure out how long you should spend researching and learning before beginning a new, unfamiliar project in Photoshop, but this would have been 30 minutes well spent.
