There's an Adobe Max every year. The conference will start on the 2nd of November and goes on for two days. The first day will be about the Future of Creativity and Design, and day two will be based on how Community Inspires Community.
Day one will provide information on major innovations Adobe has developed to enhance the creative process. It will focus on the desktop and mobile apps and their latest technologies, like the Adobe Character Animator it's been developing. The platforms they have built are also to be discussed, which includes the addition of stock video which you can contribute to now.

Quentin Tarantino will speak on the second day. Even though he is most likely one of the major drawing cards, the event will also be graced by Photographer Lynsey Addario, Experimental Sculptor Janet Echelman, and Fashion Designer Zac Posen.
He doesn't like digital capture or projection when it comes to his work, and Adobe is mostly digital. I think this dynamic will be interesting, as well as the topics he will be discussing, which will most likely be about his experiences in a team context, what issues he had that Adobe now solved and general workflow, rather than whether digital is killing cinema.

What's really cool is that you'll be able to watch the live stream if you can't make it to San Diego. We don't get the masters talking about their art very often, and Quentin Tarantino is one of my favorite directors, so I won't miss this.
