There is a tendency in certain genres (landscape photography, for example) to seek out images that wow the viewer based purely on their content — dramatic waterfalls lit by fiery sunsets, for example. There is nothing wrong with such an image, but the danger is that we become too reliant on letting the content do the work instead of leveraging our creative eye to shape the frame in a way that makes the ordinary extraordinary.
