No photographer is perfect, and no one comes home with great images after every single shoot. It is important to remember that things go wrong sometimes, and this great video explores what happens when you simply have a bad day.
Coming to you from Chris Sale, this excellent video discusses his dissatisfaction with a shoot and how he rebounded by simply revisiting the location the next day. I think it is important to remember that even the best photographers have bad days where the images just do not come out well. We simply do not see them, because like any good creative, they only put their very best work out there. Nonetheless, when things go wrong, they still get back in there and work to get the shot. In fact, I would venture to say that if you do not find yourself failing at least sometimes, you are probably not pushing yourself hard enough and growing creatively. While it is of course important to be able to consistently get the shots you need for clients, be sure to take the time to expand your creative palette and technical skills. Check out the video above for the full rundown from Sale.
