A Unique and Simple Tip for Improving Your Photos

We spend a lot of time working on our technique and expanding our knowledge of various methods for creating and editing photos. However, sometimes, a simple adjustment in how you approach things can make a big difference, and this excellent video tutorial will show you one such adjustment.

Coming to you from James Popsys, this great video tutorial will show you a simple technique for creating better compositions. No doubt, one of the most common mistakes in landscape photography is going too wide and simply including too much in the frame. This happens simply because most landscapes demand a wider focal length and it can be hard to exclude things from a frame when you do not want to reduce the majesty of the scene. Zooming in is the easiest way to remedy this, but as Popsys demonstrates, this wide-in method of working might actually be detrimental to our photos. Instead of working to correct an overly busy composition, if we start with an overly cropped frame and gradually work our way to the ideal focal length, we are likely to get shots that we might not have otherwise. Check out the video above for the full rundown from Popsys.
