I like the idea but just can't get past the poor exposure (or processing)

Thanks for the feedback. Its most likely the processing i only tweaked the vibrance, saturation, and whites. Oh and 5+ on clarity(thats what probably did it over the top). I didnt want to do selective color or have a dark image in general the reason i went this route was to convey a sunny day in the savannah. It fit my taste as i wanted the focus to draw to the eye/gold mark under and the edits i feel accentuated that feature. If i can go back i would do local adjustments rather than editing the whole frame globally i love this picture because of how i got it i was constantly switching from the 50mm &70-300. Im just glad i got the focus right where i wanted it at 1.4. One thing that i beat myself up on is the large amount of purple fringing. That of course could be fixed. How would you have proccessed differently? Im interested in learning :)
