I would suggest cropping in on the faces. This is where the interest is. The sky, trees and road don't add anything to the photo and therefore I believe distract from the photo. I did a week workshop with Dave Black and he pushed this line of thought. At first I thought he was being too hard and then by the end of the week I saw what he was saying.
