2.3 - "Needs Work"

Shot with a Canon 1dx Mkii with a 600mm F/4 lens handheld. I used manual focus for this shot as the eagles kept flying in and out of the trees.

Any pointers or tips welcomed, this was my first time trying to capture a bald eagle, took all weekend to get this. Hoping to improve on my next time out!

this is a great shot. To make it OUTSTANDING, I would consider opening up the detail it the birds feathers, a bit more brightness on the face and possibly swapping out that sky for one with some clouds. The bird is centered in the image, consider cropping some of the right side and maybe a bit off the top and bottom so it fills the frame more.

Thank you for our advice! I’ll definitely make those adjustments to better my work :)
