There is something really cool about this picture. My first instinct was a 2. But the more i look at it the higher my rating goes just short of a 4.
I like really like the subject, but maybe a little more room on the left would help the picture? Also while the harsh light kinda reflects the environment i would like to see it in a softer light or maybe even a black and white.

That's very nice to hear, thank you. It was a crazy hot and sunny day. It was - if I remember - early afternoon and I could have stayed longer for better light, but there was literally nothing for fifty miles either side and I had a long drive to the next location.

I don't know if this is possible but I would like to see some even space between the three elements (right now the tree and the windmill are a bit too close together). I'd also like some more space on the left. That scene looks like it has a ton of potential ...
