A bit too "ballsy" IMO, if you did not post the caption I would have had no idea what the concept is. You have a pretty good sport portrait if you remove all the balls, turn down power on flash/softbox and give subject a more intersting expression.
Ya, its a decent enough sportrait but I think the balls are overkill on this one.
Is he actually holding the ball? Looks photoshopped to his hand (he is too small to hold it in one hand).
