Rapids between Ontario and Quebec.
A lot didn't go the way I wanted. My travel tripod wasn't tall enough to get on top of the chain link fence, which forced me to use handheld shots and forego the ND filter.
I'm rather green with compositing and blending and took a lot of trial and error to attempt to get the subject into a passable state...
Keep working it! I think this could make a really cool photo with the city in the background. Perhaps less dead space on the left. I would even try following the kayaker and let the city background blur a little. I bet you can still get the point across that this is a city scape with motion. You can do this in camera instead of photoshop. The different between the foreground water and the background water give the photoshop effort away.
