This is an "Apex Jump", its a way to score points avoiding players with a jump outside the track but landing inside the track. Totally legal, Totally hard, Totally awesome.

Better. And although I like layering in a photo the foreground lag is to distracting to the action. Also I think in this case it would be better to freeze the action. (Which can still convey motion). Much better background.
