It took many layers to add all the splashes ... happily it was a really hot summer day and the model didn't mind !
The hard work was to composite all of this in an other place ! ( it was shot in a open field in the sun )

I think the light, and compositing, and everthing looks great. However, I don't understand the picture. I see a cool side, and a warm side, and the levitating model, and then all the color splashes, but I'm not quite sure where it's going. I'd love to hear your vision with this photo.
This was mostly done as an exercise to practice high-speed photography and compositing. It's a one shot, but I was happy with the result so it ended in my portfolio.
