Long before shooting this photograph, I wanted to capture the Santa Maddalena Church with the Odle Mountain Group in the background, to be enlightened with the warm light of the setting sun. It wasn’t a sunny evening unfortunately and we actually experienced a thunderstorm. When I look at this photo though, I do think that it was actually better that my dreams of a sunny setting didn’t come true.
