2.2 - "Needs Work"

A place of timeless charms, Plovdiv is the oldest living city in Europe, and among the 10 oldest in the world - the one which will be named European Capital of Culture for 2019, the one that its citizens call PLOVEdiv...

The shot is a blended image (to get the sky, the city lights and the foreground with the correct exposure) that developed over 3 hours at the end of a summer day. I used my entry-level Nikon D3200, its kit lens, a Benro tripod, an intervalometer and a looong pause to supervise/enjoy the view.

Nice shot. Care to say where in Plovdiv? I would like to come make similar I live in Sofia.

Thank you! I took it from the top of Nebet Tepe - one of the 7 hills the city is known for. It is also in the Old Town part of the city, so if you get the chance - come and take a walk up, I think you will enjoy the views and culture a lot.
