Taken by Lake Cushman, Washington. Wildfires had been making the air incredibly hazey, resulting in landscape photography being a bit frustrating lately. As I framed the shot, however, I noticed how nice the rays of the sunset filtered through the haze giving the air some texture. I also really loved the pastel gradation of the sky and the general simplistic and painterly feel of the image.
