The Rapture.

I took this shot during the moment of a major eruption of Mayon Volcano. The ash plume measuring 5km (3 miles) high as thousands of residents were forced to flee their homes. Juxtaposed, is the statue of the Lady of Guadalupe as if offering a prayer for the safety of the city's inhabitants.

One of my faves so far 💞💞💞

Ok this is a great shot, perhaps not too landscape like but the shot itself reminds me of something you will see from a photojournalist or National Geographic. I feel its telling a story.

I'm not sure this is a landscape, but it is a stunning image! I see this more as some very high quality photojournalism. Great work!
