we were caught up by a snowstorm high up in the Peruvian Andes at 4400m.It was not safe for both the horses and ourselves to ride them so we kept on track by foot. It was an awesome opportunity to capture on camera the worst weather i had ever been in.

there is a photo-book by the actor Paul Newman and a photographer called "On the Outlaw Trail". It covers their trip along this old trail during the 1980´s. A great photographic journey, and this fine image could be taken directly from this book. Great photograph!
