I have been wanting to get this picture at Emerald Lake (B.C. Canada) for years but it always seemed to elude me. This time the Rockies got a huge dump of snow which made the scene just spectacular. I waited until the blue hour as there was no color in the skies for sunset and was able to get the low fog rolling in. I then quickly light painted the snow in the foreground and across the creek.
