I really like the simplicity of the foreground and midground here, but the sky feels a bit unnatural to me. Always tough to shoot into the sun like this, but I also think that the long shadows of the trees add to the image. Might have worked better with the sun a little lower on the horizon, just peaking over the hill in the background.
Thanks Josh for the very excellent constructive criticism. I agree completely about the sky, it is I think the weakest part of the image. Earlier may have been better, it's an older image and I was just curious to see what the community thought.
Gotcha. Great work, definitely a solid image for me regardless of the sky.
