I've been trying to photograph this tree with snow for years and when the area got 20" of snow in less then 24 hours I knew this was going to be my best chance to get the image i had invision. I hiked up through shin deep snow to this location just in time for this beautiful sunset and after this trip i invested in a pare of snowshoes.
