Concept is cool but she looks happy to be there frozen. And that's where the image falls down for me.

I'm not usually into portraits, but I actually like that she's smiling. Travis has a point, typically a person frozen in ice wouldn't be happy to be there, but her expression leaves the viewer asking "why is she so happy?" causing them to think of the moments before the event. Did she sacrifice herself to save someone she loved? Did she just remember a funny joke she heard? Who knows, the reason will never be known, and that mystery adds to the image. Has she looked upset or scared it would just look like a crime scene photo.
