One of the peaks in (Kolob Canyons, located in the northwest corner of Zion National Park). As seen from I-15. Photo is unedited and shot from the window of a vehicle driving down the road - I was the passenger. Feedback would be greatly appreciated. I'm a newbie.

For a photo from a vehicle this isn't bad.
It's missing something to lead you into the photo and since it's been taken during the day there's not much to play around with the colour. If there was more in the foreground to lead your eye into the photo I think this could be a very decent photo and would cut out some of the sky which I don't feel is adding much to the photo. Also taking it during the sunrise/sunset hours would add a bit more colour interest.
Wow!! Thank you so much for the feedback. I'm very new to DSLR photography. In fact, I had gotten my camera the night before I shot this - still had my camera on JPG instead of RAW. I've been learning a tremendous amount on here as well as every other learning environment you can think of. It's hard and frustrating as a newbie to not have any critiques, especially helpful ones. I'm hoping to get a better shot of this peak one of these mornings. The location is about an hour away from me. Hopefully I can get a sunrise over them. Thank you again for your critiques.
I'm fairly new too I wish more people would actually critique my photos, glad I was able to help
