Always love seeing people in real estate shots. It's done a lot in editorial work but seems to be rare in commercial images.

I know there's an argument that it can be a distraction but I think it brings life into a static environment. We are shooting a space inhabited by humans after all.

Unlike Daniel, I'm not really a fan of the person walking across the window for the reason he stated (I find it distracting). Eyes are also naturally drawn to the brightest parts of the image so I think that the room really needed to be lighter overall (and especially at the edges) if you wanted to do something like this.

A good technique is to flip the image 180-degrees walk away for a minute and come back to see where your eyes naturally go. For me, they start with the glowing white window on the door and then basically follow the sofa right outside the house where a human figure (something our eyes are also naturally drawn to) happens to be. So the way the lighting works leads our eyes right to the potential distraction.

thanks for both comments. Michael- I understand what your'e saying but I felt adding a human will bring more life to the place, moreover, I feel like the outside of this house was also important, and that was the way to make it more prominent.

Hi Ooriya, I feel you already achieved in bringing the outside in without the person walking past the window. You did a great job exposing the outside. I also feel the person is a bit distracting and the highlight on the door is a bit blowing out, but otherwise a really beautiful image and well balanced!

Some fantastic blending on this image Ooriya, really fantastic!
