I'm not sure if you chose the wrong angle, if the space itself is shaped awkwardly, or a combination of both, but the composition isn't really working for me. There's a lack of balance with a lot of stuff going on in the left side of the frame and next to nothing going on in the right side.

The lighting of the image is almost there, the highlights are a bit blown out in the skylight and ceiling lights. the composition isn't really working for me. the 2 point perspective of the table is interesting but the right side of the image is so bare compared to the business of the left. I read below that the room is oddly shaped. I wonder if you had taken the image from the front of the desk, had the chair sitting behind that main desk and then removing the lamp so that the cable isn't distracting?
