cool shot, curious how you did the liquid part where the bottle shows through. did you shoot the liquid on black and use the lighten blend mode?
Thank you Dan! It's actually a brush I created. I used 3 layers for each brush, the color of the whisky, white, and then masked one and painted in highlights. For the real shot I am playing around with shooting actual whisky on a black background like you mentioned but liking how the brush gives me a little more control.
