gives me the feeling of 'good old times'
I would like to either crop off the roof on top of frame or if its a convertible, open it up completely.

Love automotive photography! Have you tried shooting a similar shot through the back window (That way you can include beautiful locations to with beautiful vehicle interior ;) )
