This is somewhat macabre. The dark spot in the center is bird or bat brain after it literally exploded when crashing full speed against a window in my living room during the fireworks on new year's eve. Also the impact location is still somewhat visible in the photo. I hope the rain washes it away now. May the victim rest in peace.

Hmm, I struggle with this one. If I made two suggestions, it'd be first to try to find a way to tell more of the story with the image (without the description, I'd have had no idea). Second is the strong circle emphasis I find quite distracting. It's I'm sure a dramatic and sad event (and unique event!), but the photo could be more I think. Hope that helps.
Thanks Eric, I appreciate your comment! If I'd do it again, I'd add some motionblur heading away from the center of the image.
