This image doesn't fit your conventions for critique the community but its my best example of how photography can tell a story and I hope you'll accept it.
It's 3 photos of myself sitting on a small dock on Lake Huron in southwestern Ontario. The water height is a common topic for this area as recently the high water level has caused lots of erosion and has damaged roads, footpaths and people's property. Sometime in 2016 I remembered this old photo of myself and thought I'd recreate it. Fast forward to 2020 and now I have a fantastic visual representation of the rapid change that has occurred on the beaches here.
Critique the community is a great youtube series and I enjoy every episode, thank you very much.
