This young monkey is trying to suckle from and rouse its dead mother on the side of the road. Both victims of a tragic road accident.

My Canon 7D had a telephoto lens on so wasn't available for this shot. Fortunately I was able to grab my Sony RX100 V to take this poignant scene as we left the park for the evening.
