A shepherd leading his herd across lake Varese after a whole month of intensive rain and just a couple of hours of sleep per night. All the pastures were flooded so the sheep had very little to eat. Stressed and nervous, keeping them in line was very hard.
The water level was so high that a few lambs drowned just after birth.
