This image was taken shortly after a snow storm hit the Four Peaks Wilderness located outside Phoenix, AZ. I was in a bit of a rush getting out here and hadn’t really scoped out a good composition. Placing the 4 Peaks in the center of the frame looked best visually to me, and I wanted to emphasize the contrast between the desert foreground with the cactus, and the snow on the mountains in the background.
