A overwhelmingly smoky evening in New Zealand photographed nearly 2000km away from the Australian bush fires. A constant Nor-west wind had taken 3-4 days to reach my town of Akaroa On the east coast. bringing with it a not so comforting glow in the sky. I intended the photo to create a somber, uncomforting feeling.
