This was shot during a campout in Moab, Utah. My friends and I had just gotten back from stargazing in Arches national park, but when we pulled up to the campsite, the rest of the group had all gathered around the campfire. Conveniently, the milkyway was right over them, so I took 2 steps from the car and planted my tripod in the ground. Shot on a Canon 6D with the 35mm f/1.4L II.
