It was about 2am and I started to hear a helicopter outside my open window. I looked out and saw a bunch of flashlights. The police were looking for suspect that did hit and run just down the street and fled their vehicle. I wanted to capture what was going on so I headed outside.

Needless to say it wasn't a good idea to have my "Red" AF illuminator on pointing at cops in the dead of night. I was lucking they didn't draw their guns on me. Right before getting a very stern talking to I got this shot. 209mm 1/125 f/5.6 @5000 iso.
