Male Leopard at Night.

Photographed in Sabi Sands Reserve, South Africa July 7, 2018. This male had just descended from a tree after eating a warthog. The open wound on his shoulder is from fighting his son who is behind us on the left. Several hyenas are nearby looking for scraps. The lights are from spotlights on a vehicles to our right and and left. Both lights were hand-held by the safari guides. I took the photo when the light gave a decent composition, so yes, random lighting.

Taken with Nikon D500 with Tamron 150-600 lens. ISO 51200, F5, 225mm, 1/100 sec
