On a unseasonably warm February night in 2016, a few good friends and I went to a local lake to practice some light paining. At one point my friend and her daughter were stargazing, so I asked her to point to the sky for this 8 second shot. Using my iPhone's flashlight as the only light source, I ran back and forth behind the camera to soften the light.
