This is my second planned full moon photo
Stoodley Pike - Full Moon
It was amazing to watch the Moon rise from the horizon, felt so surreal.
Nikon D750 | Sigma 150-600mm | ISO 400 | FL 600mm | 1/3s Exp | Distance 3m | Moon phase 99%
The moon appears to be huge as I was approx 2 mile away from the tower - when the Moon is low on the horizon, it naturally appears to be large due to perspective against visible objects on the horizon, such as the tower.
When the Moon is high up in the sky, there is nothing to compare it with and it looks smaller.
I like the the image overall but I think the bottom green area is distracting and doesn't add value to the image.
The moon over the tower is awesome.
