Light painting a path around a tree

This image was taken on The Veluwe, the largest nature reserve in The Netherlands. Still, in this country you're never far away from civilization so there was quite a bit of light pollution. Luckily, for this image this was not an issue.

The path was created by walking from the camera around the tree and out of the frame, while shining a flashlight sideways at the ground. Then quickly walking back towards the tree and lighting the trunk and underside of the canopy.
