Lake Humanay
I don’t consider myself a landscape photographer, this image was taken with a Nikon D750 and 24-85 zoom lens, it is Lake Humantay, It is a high altitude lake outside of Cusco in Peru the main challenge involved in capturing this image is accessibility, the lake is situated at an altitude of 4850 meters above sea level 16000 feet above sea level, and involves a trek of about 2 1/2 hours and it gets a little cold at that altitude, and also you tend to have problems breathing. I have done very little in the way of editing on the image the colours are natural and haven’t been adjusted the water is naturally that colour due to the natural minerals in the water.
