While Madeira is a drone paradise (flying a drone is allowed almost everywhere), the easternmost side of the island is a high risk - high reward location. The composition with the many island is amazing, but you need to fly several km from the farthest point of walkable land to the end of the last islet, and it will take the connection strength and wind resistance of your drone to the limit.
