The Kelso Dunes in the Mojave National Preserve is one of the few places in Southern California where I can view the Milky Way. It was a nice but warm day, with intermittent clouds which turned into a storm in the distance. This shot was taken just before sunset. This shot was taken with my Canon R5 and my Canon 200-400 F4 during my last Milky Way camp in August.
