Baita Segantini is located in the Pale di San Martino mountain group at an altitude of 2291 metres above Passo Rolle on the Passo Costazza mountain pass. We waited for a long time in the thick fog, just when it looked hopeless the fog cleared for a few minutes and we could see the peaks with the last rays of the sun.
