Elena wanted some headshots to break into acting. So we created this one evening, about an hour or so before sunset, hoping to make the most of natural light.
We did use one speedlight and about a 12” softbox placed just off to the right of the subject… just to brighten up the subject a bit. Thought the lighter strip of paint on the wall was a nice way to help the background be just a tad bit more interesting, but not enough to pull focus off of the subject.
Camera used was a Canon 5D Mark II with a 135mm lens at f/5.6. ISO around 300.
