This was shot using a large vflat just behind the model, with two strobes placed in the middle firing into it. Then we had a third light with a snoot from the right just to try and clip the earring with a little light to make it pop a little more.

I really like the detail in this delicate silhouette. why would someone rate this as "needs work"? It needs nothing - its solid. The earring is everything.
