"Honey Vision" – My lovely model @juleees.pts came to me with an ai-generated image of a girl with glasses made of dripping honey combs. I myself having worked with honey numerous times was intrigued by the look but also aware of the great mess and hard to work material. Luckily she managed to wrap very fine string around the combs and glasses so the didn't drop too fast. I just had to add some fresh honey and capture this really surreal look.
Lighting was quite interesting as well, as we wanted to have the image not too bright and playful but with intensity in colors and contrast. So I had my key light (90cm softbox) to the right, and a Hilite with an orange gel in the back. To lift the shadows a bit and give the reflections some color, I added an LED-Tube to the left with color set to a dark (almost red) orange.
