Taken with a Lensbaby Composer Pro II with Edge 50 Optic all manual focus. I was inspired by vintage wet plate collodion portraits and I wanted to create something similar but with my digital camera and in color. I wanted the effect to all be done in camera which is why I chose to use Lensbaby Composer Pro II with Edge 50 Optic. The tilt shift blur is all in the original image I wanted the photo to focus on her eye and slowly fall off focus everywhere else. I never really seen anyone use tilt shift lenses for portraits so I thought it would be an interesting experiment to try something different.
