This is one of the oldest images I still keep in my portfolio. There is just something about it that I've always loved. The lighting is a bit of a happy accident. The model was posing on a log, and I had set up a large softbox to create a more standard beauty look. As I was shooting, a gust of wind came up and shifted the box off-axis, allowing some dappled light from the sun behind to fall onto the model.

I felt like the image came "alive" because of it so we ran with it.
