Photo of @KatrinaVeraChapman on Instagram. I was going for a creative take on traditional pageant photos, my client was doing headshots for the USOA Mrs. Nevada competition. I opted for a star filter and a hard light source to bring out all the sparkle in the crown. The key light is a Godox AD400 Pro with the Lindsay Adler Optical Spot to create a slice of light across the face. I used two strip boxes (also Godox Ad400 Pro) with purple gels to fill in the shadows and add a nice pop of color for a graphic look. I used my Nikon Z6 with a 24-70mm 1.4 lens.
