On Good Friday 2020, in the middle of the COVID lockdown, an unusual and heavy storm hit Southern California. As the storm moved south, Huntington Beach saw double rainbows touching down just over the ocean. Then, as the sun set, the entire world turned bright red and purple for a few minutes. There are no color adjustment layers or toning in this - it's an accurate representation of what it looked like to the naked eye. Thanks to COVID, the beach was empty save a few photographers in the right place at the right time.
